{"id":758,"date":"2022-10-06T10:14:10","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T08:14:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beauxarts-cie.com\/consulting\/?page_id=758"},"modified":"2024-07-16T10:16:14","modified_gmt":"2024-07-16T08:16:14","slug":"palais-communal-of-nice","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/beauxarts-cie.com\/consulting\/en\/palais-communal-of-nice\/","title":{"rendered":"Framing and definition of the scientific and cultural project for the creation of a cultural venue in the former Palais communal of the city of Nice"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns refId\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\">\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-left\">Client: City of Nice<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\">\n<p>2021<br>Scientific and cultural project, local grounding, development of innovative projects<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Context and challenges:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the redevelopment of the Saint-Fran\u00e7ois district, the city of Nice intends to renovate the Palais Communal (Municipal Palace) and develop a museum dedicated to the city&rsquo;s heritage, memory and history, covering the medieval and modern periods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our role:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beaux Arts Consulting, assisted by 104Ing\u00e9nierie, helped the city of Nice define the cultural project for the Palais Communal in all its components: content intentions, mediation, revenue diversification and economic modelling:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Diagnosis of the building and summary of existing facilities, and mapping of cultural players who could be involved in the project,<\/li><li>Benchmark of cultural venues and innovative experiences for inspiration,<\/li><li>Proposal of cultural content and structuring scientific axes following interviews with these cultural and civil society players to define Nice&rsquo;s culture,<\/li><li>Synthesis of items from municipal collections that could be added to the future facility,<\/li><li>Drafting of the scientific and cultural project and its summary.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Impact and follow-up:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beaux Arts Consulting&rsquo;s support enabled the Palais Communal, in conjunction with the city&rsquo;s cultural and civil society players, to define a demanding cultural and scientific content around the history of the city of Nice and Nice culture.
