Context and challenges:
The Château de Vincennes is an emblematic monument in French history. A place of national memory, it was the heart of the French monarchy before Versailles, and served as a fortress to protect Paris under Napoleon I. Now home to the French Department of Defense History, it is nevertheless too little known to the general public for the Ville de Vincennes and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux.
To highlight this historic site, the Ville de Vincennes, in conjunction with the Service Historique de la Défense and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, called on Beaux Arts Consulting to develop an innovative digital event.
Our role:
Beaux Arts Consulting, assisted by the 104Paris team and the Fidal law firm, helped the City of Vincennes define the project, with the aim of enhancing the site’s visibility, attracting new visitors and promoting the château’s 10 centuries of history:
- Benchmark of innovative cultural experiences with a digital component in France and abroad,
- Situational diagnosis and completion of a series of individual interviews to identify the expectations related to the project,
- Proposal of several events scenarios incorporating the artistic concept, the technological feasibility, the economic model, and governance options,
- Detailed presentation of two events scenarios including artistic intention note, technical feasibility, roadmap, and operational economic model.
Impact and follow-up:
This support enabled us to precisely define the chosen format, as well as the legal and governance arrangements for the event. The concrete implementation of the event was thus made possible thanks to coherent recommendations that met the customer’s challenges, and the establishment of a detailed project schedule.
