Context and challenges:
Founded in 2005, Emissive is the French pioneer of virtual reality experiences. The company designs and produces immersive installations for cultural institutions, and in particular develops “Immersive Expeditions”, unique adventures in heritage discovery. Emissive has developed a virtual reality content and format that enables visitors to move freely during immersion, and to virtually travel through time simultaneously with other users and a guide/lecturer.
Our role:
Beaux Arts Consulting supported Emissive, a start-up company at the time, in exporting its “Immersive Expeditions” product, targeting cultural institutions in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia:
- Market research on cultural consumption in museums, by country,
- Designing the appropriate sales strategy for each target market,
- Identify qualified institutional contacts and organize sales meetings,
- Making contact and following up sales meetings (reports, follow-ups, etc.),
- Drafting letters of intent,
- Deployment of the “Immersive Expeditions” product in several institutions.
Impact and follow-up:
Beaux Arts Consulting carried out a market study on cultural consumption in a number of countries in order to support Emissive in its international development strategy, and in particular to prioritize target countries. In addition, Beaux Arts Consulting initiated several meetings with prospects from the international museum market, introducing the company to many potential customers.
