Context:

The IRCAM Centre Pompidou has signed a collaboration agreement with the C-Lab, a new cultural and research site in Taipei. The institution hired Beaux Arts Consulting to support them in the definition of a global program for this site, as regards strategy, programming, and training.

Tasks:

• Development of a situational analysis of the challenges of the C-Lab and its local context
• Definition of a cultural project and the implementation timeline for a center dedicated to creation and new technologies inspired by the IRCAM model
• Proposals of forms of events and mediation actions allowing a dialog between art, science, and technology
• Organizational recommendations and support in building the team
• Support in creating a scientific research laboratory and the technological development to be used for artistic creation
• Help in the professional training of cultural operators, technicians, and artists
• Definition of the operating methods of the center, internally and regarding partnerships, that take into account the relations of collaboration with the IRCAM
