2024, First cycle of the prefiguration program

As part of a consortium with the artistic production agency Eva Albarran, Beaux Arts Institue coordinated numerous events for Villa Hegra’s 2023-2024 prefiguration program, including talks, masterclasses, podcasts and artist residencies.

A Franco-Saudi institution in the process of being created, Villa Hegra aims to foster cultural and artistic exchanges between the two countries, through the construction over the next few years of a building in the city of AlUla, equipped with numerous artistic facilities.

Since 2023, Beaux Arts Institute has been contributing to the design and production of various events aimed at anchoring the Villa in the local and international artistic life of this booming city, as part of the 1st cycle of the prefiguration program. Over the course of 18 months, a number of activities have helped to raise the Villa’s profile:

– conferences, talks, podcasts
– invitations to artists, commissioned works and performances
– film-concerts
– as well as educational and scientific workshops for children

Beaux Arts Institute works closely with a number of partners, including the Eva Albarran agency, Hopscotch, and the Royal Commission for AlUla.
